Almost every time I’ve been to Italy, I’ve come upon a restaurant by chance that was just FANTASTIC. Osteria Pironetomosca was this year’s find on our trip through Veneto in May. Four of us were driving to Bassano and stopped here for lunch (around 2:00). Everything about the experience was top notch. The ambiance is perfect, it is beautifully appointed, the people were absolutely delightful and the food was amazing and reasonably priced. We really could have stayed there eating and drinking and talking with the host/chef all day.
At one point, I asked the chef what spice was in a certain dish and he said it “segretto.” at first I was trying to figure out what space that was but then I realized just what he meant . That just means we’ll have to come back again to figure it out. And aren’t we lucky!!
This is a rare find. High quality ingredient, huge passion for slow food, incredible flavors. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and amazing service!
Great little place, the owner Moreno very welcoming and helpful with customers, the dining room staff truly impeccable especially Miss Giorgia, friendly, capable and always attentive to every detail.
All the dishes were well prepared, from the appetizers to the first courses, ending with truly superior second courses.
All very positive, definitely coming back.
